Remember Jaguar XK? Before F-Type, it was Jaguar’s only sports car but didn’t have much hype as F-Type having. Jaguar discontinued its flagship coupe XK in 2014 but Jaguar has begun work on new XK and has the plan to launch in 2021.

The latest reports showing that company wants reborn of Jaguar XK, This next generation XK might have four doors unlike previous had two doors and will be made on the same platform of F-type. It will be a new four-seater GT based on the F-type and seems like Jaguar loves sports cars and want another one in its portfolio lineup.

Jaguar XKHanno Kirner, the head of the product strategy at Jaguar Land Rover, recently hinted at a four-door coupe in an interview with Autocar. “The F-Type has been a huge success,” he said. “We love sports cars – and I use the plural quite deliberately. Whether that is delivered by a body variant or something else remains to be seen, but for now, let’s just say that the body type is very important for us.”

While Jaguar gonna to unveiled 2019 F-Type and now they planning four door XK but it won’t come before 2021. F-type doing very well for the company in selling and they planned about four-door F-Type.

It is expected that new generation XK bring bright future for Jaguar and maybe become rival of Porsche Panamera, Audi A7, BMW 8 Series and Mercedes CLS.
